HERITAGE

SYNONYMOUS WITH ESTEEM AND CULTURE

Nestled in the heart of Singapore’s business district, The Fullerton has long been regarded as one of one of  Asia’s largest trade and commerce centres. The luxury landmark was also the first entry point for many of Singapore’s adopted sons who helped shape the country as we know it today. Rich in history, it was here where the first governors  office of the Malacca Straights was established which was considered crucial in opening up Asia to the west. It is also  where one of Singapore’s most famous national treasures was unearthed, the ‘Singapore Stone’. Despite the  building’s ever changing intentions, from postoffice to private club and currently one of Asia’s most beloved  hotels, the Fullerton Heritage has long been synonymous with esteem and culture. The nearby Clifford Pear can also boast of its own rich past. As the historical crux of immigration and trade for much  of the 20th century, it too has been safeguarded for conservation as a reminder of the areas grandeur past as  development continues unbounded to breath new life into one of the country’s cultural hotspots.
