Porcelain Flowers by Earth Tay Siew Cheng

Flowers:  In silence, they bloom, wither, and blossom again through the different seasons and passage of time; elegant and beautiful beyond words could convey.  

Local artist Earth Tay Siew Cheng’s creations seek the purity and delicacy of nature – a thing of beauty, a joy forever. If, in their silence, the creations speak to you; of love and of the power of Earth to bring forth effortless beauty; Earth Tay would have captured a touch of nature’s eloquence within her works.

Each flower is hand-built with either pure white porcelain clay or black stoneware clay, and fired in the electric kiln to 1280˚c to reveal the extreme qualities of porcelain: translucence and depth.
