Strategically located in the heart of the Central Business District and the precinct's long-established history and cultural heritage, The Fullerton Heritage is the focal point of lifestyle offerings across The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore, The Fullerton Waterboat House, One Fullerton, The Fullerton Pavilion, Clifford Pier and Customs House. With the six-month pilot debut of the Car-free Sunday initiative by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) in parts of the Central Business and Civic Districts starting February 28, 2016, a range of activities for the public has been lined up on the last Sunday of each month from 7 to 9 a.m.
The Fullerton Spa
A newly unveiled spa destination nestled in the hallowed hallways of The Fullerton Hotel - a newly gazetted National Monument - The Fullerton Spa features a pampering selection of therapies using the product line by the award-winning UK based company, Aromatherapy Associates. In a nod to the hotel's storied past as the General Post Office and “Mile Zero”, from which all of Singapore was measured; the spa therapists welcome spa sybarites with the following treatments:
A Heritage Local Breakfast in Post Bar
Bearing design elements like the original wall motifs and lofty coffered ceiling from when it used to be the General Post Office’s transaction hall makes the Post Bar décor a unique statement in heritage. Be it an early breakfast before heading out to explore the precinct or a leisurely breakfast with family and friends, enjoy a local breakfast experience that includes Kaya Toast, Half-boiled Eggs, Soya Bean Milk and Local Coffee. The Heritage Local Breakfast is priced at S$18* per person for adults/S$9* per child^. Served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Heritage Dim Sum Brunch in The Clifford Pier
A perfect way to round up the morning outing at a waterfront landmark, The Clifford Pier's Heritage Dim Sum Brunch welcomes brunch aficionados with traditional trolleys and live "hawker" stalls. From classic favourites like Steamed Siew Mai with Tobiko Roe, Steamed Pork Ribs in Fermented Black Bean Sauce, and Steamed Custard Bun served piping hot to your table on trolleys, the brunch spread is also replete with hearty local delights like Nyonya Popiah, Kueh Pie Tee, Laksa with Tiger Prawns, Fried Carrot Cake, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Soup Kambing and Rickshaw Noodles with Braised Pork Belly. Priced at S$49* per adult/S$25* per child^, the Heritage Dim Sum Brunch is served from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
GO LOCAL with the Fullerton Monument Tour
Standing majestically at the mouth of the Singapore River, the Fullerton Building witnessed the transformation of Singapore from a colonial outpost to a first-world metropolis. Let our resident guide take you back in time to 1928 when the story of the Fullerton Building first began. Discover the rich history of our newly minted National Monument and gain exclusive access to preserved areas within The Fullerton Hotel Singapore. Limited to 20 persons, the one-hour tour is inclusive of a Heritage Local Breakfast in Post Bar following the tour. Priced at S$18 nett per person for adults/S$9 nett per child^.
