From 6 to 16 April, Chef Kent Seah showcases his dexterity at the “Japanese Themed Dinner Buffet” in Town Restaurant. The seafood corner is replete with a fresh selection of seafood that includes poached live prawns, freshly shucked oysters, scallops in shells and Japanese Snow Crab. At the live station, diners can relish freshly sliced sashimi, an assortment of sushi and maki, California maki, Unagi maki and Aburi rolls.

Progressing to the hot food corner, diners will be spoiled for choice by a selection that includes signature braised beef Kakuni, grilled mackerel (Saba Shioyaki), Japanese-styled ginger pork (Buta Shogayaki) and garlic fried rice (Niniku Chahan); to name a few. Additionally, an assortment of Age Mono, salmon, chicken Katsu, Tori Karaage is freshly prepared at the Tempura station. Popular selections at the Robatayaki station include chicken Yakitori, quail egg bacon, Kurobuta pork belly, Shiitake, Ayu and Yakitori.

Japanese-inspired desserts such as Wasabi and assorted flavoured macaroons and Matcha cheesecake round up the dining experience on a sweet note.

The highlight of the dinner is a live tuna cutting show on April 9 and April 16, 2016, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on both evenings.
