Befitting of its rich heritage as Singapore’s 71st National Monument, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore presents a full calendar of activities for lovers of culture, arts, design and heritage.

Marvel at uniquely designed Christmas tree decorations handcrafted by Singapore designer Melvin Ong from Desinere as you enter the Grand Dame. Harking back to Fullerton Building’s history as Singapore’s General Post Office, each Christmas tree is decorated with origami birds, representative of homing pigeons delivering letters.

For guests who are interested in making one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts, join a handicraft paper pleating workshop conducted by Melvin Ong at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore on 17 December 2016 from 2.30pm to 5.00pm.

Each workshop, priced at S$65 nett, allows participants to uncover the art and intricacies of paper folds and forms. The end result is a handmade paper vase - a perfect home display with a spray of floral bloom.
